28-29 April - The Perfect Campsite!!

The weather is better than we expected [about 24-25 degrees], so the socks are off and the shorts are on!!
Just arrived at the most idyllic lake-side site with tennis courts, gym, free wi-fi etc and all for 11 euros a night. It is just so temping to stay here for the summer. We've had a bike ride round the lake and a game of tennis (no mill stream either side of the court so no lost balls for a change), and we may even venture into the lake tomorrow.

26-27 April - FRRRRRRance!!!!

We walked around quaint Le Mans old town followed by a visit to the Le Mans 24 hour motor racing circuit museum. Despite telling the guy on the gate that he was The Stig, Allan wasn't allowed to throw the Bongo around the track.

This couple were at the pub with their two naughty pet goats Merlin and Gandalf who were eating the flowers in the planters.
