2 May - Payrac [Dordogne]

Rosie, Jim, and the two gnomes start their training for the Tour de France in earnest.....

Rocamadour, our coffee and cake stop today.

Allan commits the usual Brit Abroad fashion faux-pas!!!

Jane in Donkey Heaven.

Another near empty campsite. We made a dramatic arrival in a cloud of steam, followed by the contents of the radiator being deposited on the tarmac outside Reception - anti-freeze is such a lovely blue colour.......What a pity Allan forgot to tighten the radiator cap after he topped it up yesterday.

What a pair of lovely containers - and look, there's two huge jars of Nutella too!!!

1st May - Near Limoges

This site is in the grounds of a chateau. It's a Bank Holiday today. Lucky we booked!

31 April - Jane's 1st outdoor swim

Who said that black was slimming?

28-29 April - The Perfect Campsite!!

The weather is better than we expected [about 24-25 degrees], so the socks are off and the shorts are on!!
Just arrived at the most idyllic lake-side site with tennis courts, gym, free wi-fi etc and all for 11 euros a night. It is just so temping to stay here for the summer. We've had a bike ride round the lake and a game of tennis (no mill stream either side of the court so no lost balls for a change), and we may even venture into the lake tomorrow.

26-27 April - FRRRRRRance!!!!

We walked around quaint Le Mans old town followed by a visit to the Le Mans 24 hour motor racing circuit museum. Despite telling the guy on the gate that he was The Stig, Allan wasn't allowed to throw the Bongo around the track.

22-26 April 2010 - Southampton Area

Well, here we go again.......................

The marina next to our campsite on the River Hamble.

This couple were at the pub with their two naughty pet goats Merlin and Gandalf who were eating the flowers in the planters.
